WooCommerce payment gateway plugin for Pakistan

Add MehfuzPay sandbox card checkout to your WooCommerce store. The plugin supports classic checkout and Checkout Blocks, uses the saved order total and marks an order paid only after a verified payment status.

Sandbox plugin version 0.1.0. Do not enable it on a live store for customer transactions. Live payments and automatic refunds are not supported.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.5 or later with WooCommerce
  • PHP 8.1 or later
  • HTTPS on the store
  • Store currency set to PKR and a Pakistani billing phone at checkout
  • A MehfuzPay merchant test API key and webhook signing secret

Set up WooCommerce in five steps

  1. Create a MehfuzPay account. Copy a test API key and webhook signing secret from Developers in your dashboard.
  2. Install the plugin. Download the ZIP from the documentation, then upload it under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and activate it.
  3. Configure the gateway. In WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, enter API base https://mehfuzpay.com/api/v1/store, your test key and signing secret.
  4. Register the webhook. Use https://YOUR-STORE/wp-json/mehfuzpay/v1/webhook and keep WP-Cron running reliably.
  5. Test the order journey. Place a small sandbox order and check success, decline and repeated notifications.

Payment data and confirmation

The plugin sends the order reference, amount, currency and the payer’s name, email and billing phone from your store server to MehfuzPay. API keys and the signing secret stay in the server-side gateway settings and are never exposed to the browser. Card numbers and CVV codes are never read or sent by the plugin.

An order is marked paid only after MehfuzPay verifies the payment and sends a signed notification with a matching reference, amount and currency.

Does it work with WooCommerce Checkout Blocks?

Yes. The plugin includes both classic checkout and Checkout Blocks support.

Can I accept live payments with it?

Not yet. The plugin is sandbox-only until live processing is activated.

Is it in the WordPress.org plugin directory?

No. Download it from the MehfuzPay documentation. It has not been submitted for public directory distribution.
