Sandbox plugin version 0.1.0. No live processing or refunds. It does not connect to form-builder or booking plugins and does not grant membership access automatically.

Requirements

  • A WordPress site with HTTPS
  • PHP 8.1 or later
  • The payment page excluded from caching
  • Reliable WP-Cron
  • A MehfuzPay merchant test API key and webhook signing secret

Set up WordPress in five steps

  1. Create a MehfuzPay account. Copy a test API key and webhook signing secret from Developers in your dashboard.
  2. Install the plugin. Download the ZIP from the documentation, upload it to your test site and activate it.
  3. Configure the form. In Settings → MehfuzPay Sandbox, enable the form and enter the fixed amount in paisa, the HTTPS API base, your test key and signing secret.
  4. Add the shortcode. Place [mehfuzpay_payment] on an HTTPS page that is excluded from caching.
  5. Register the webhook. Use /wp-json/mehfuzpay-form/v1/webhook on your site for payment.succeeded, payment.failed and payment.review_required.

Payment data and confirmation

The amount is stored on your server and the browser amount is never trusted. Payer name, email, phone, amount and reference are sent server-side to MehfuzPay. Card details are captured in secure checkout fields, not by the plugin. Test orders are private and visible only to administrators.

An order is marked paid only after MehfuzPay verifies the payment and sends a signed notification with a matching reference, amount and currency.
